ROME SPORTS HALL OF FAME GOLF SCRAMBLE ANNOUNCED
Submitted to MHTS by Rome Sports Hall of Fame
On Saturday, July 13, 2013 the 21st Annual Four Person Golf Scramble will be held at Rome Country Club. Check-in time is 12:30pm with a Shot-Gun Start at 1:30pm.
Four person teams will compete in Men’s, Women’s, and Coed categories. The Entry Fee of $70 per golfer includes Green Fees, Cart, Driving Range, Beverages on the Course, Dinner, Prizes, Hole-In-One contest, and closest to Pin contest.
The Hole-In-One contest this year will be sponsored by Fenton Ford of Camden and will award a 2013 Ford Fusion for an ace.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Rome Sports Hall of Fame and Museum and provides funding for upkeep of the Hall and Museum, insurance and improvements, and for activities. We encourage participation of past inductees, or inductees family members, and all area golfers.
If golf is not possible this year a Hole Sponsor donation of $35 is graciously accepted. A hole sponsor can have the family name or business name on a sign on the golf course for the tournament.

The Rome Sports Hall of Fame and the Recreation Department will hold an Award’s Ceremony on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 4pm at the Rome Sports Hall of Fame, 5790 Rome New London Road, Rome, NY. 13440.
This year’s local championship Basketball and Hockey teams will be honored. Team members will receive certificates and refreshments will be served.
The ceremony is open to the public. There will be the opportunity to take individual and team photos.

Rome Sports Hall of Fame Fall Awards Ceremony Announced
The Rome Sports Hall of Fame will honor recent team and individual champions in an awards ceremony to be held at 4pm on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the RSHF facility located next to the Erie Canal Village on 5790 Rome-New London Road in Rome, NY.
Team members and individuals will receive a certificate from the RSHF and the City Recreation Department.
Refreshments will be served and the ceremony is open to the public. There will also be the opportunity to take team and individual pictures.
